Nguyen is a Toronto born, second generation Vietnamese Canadian filmmaker. As an activist he has been vocal about widespread negative preceptions of Toronto's Jane and Finch Area. Nguyen is also the founder of http://jane-finch.com. He has received multiple awards for his advocacy and work towards creating an inclusive society.
