Dr. Moises D. Cabatu

Dr. Moises D. Cabatu graduated in 1952 from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Manila in the Philippines. The following year, he remained in the Philippines to work as a rural health physician.
His internship and residency training took place in the United States, Ontario and New Brunswick between 1954 and 1962 in the fields of Family Practice, Neurosurgery and Pathology. He obtained his LMCC (Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada) in 1963.
For the past 33 years, Dr. Cabatu has practiced as a Family Physician in Fredericton, New Brunswick. During this time, he has served several years as a staff physician at the Stan Cassidy Rehabilitation Centre; five years as the Department of Indian Affairs designated physician for the Kingsclear and St. Mary's Reserves; nine years as a staff physician for the New Brunswick Addiction Centre; and the past 27 years as a Transport Canada designated Civil Aviation Medical Examiner for Fredericton and surrounding areas.
Dr. Cabatu holds membership with the New Brunswick Medical Society, the Canadian Medical Association and the York Sunbury-Queens Medical Society.
