Chinese Canadian Legands Award
The Chinese Canadian Legend
Award recognizes Chinese Canadians who have accomplished outstanding
achievements in their lives and made valuable contributions to
the world community.
The Award was established in
2000. Since then, 59 individuals and two organizations have been
awarded.
Although the CCLA Gala is organized
by Asian Business Network Association, the award event belongs
to the community. Most of the members on the organization committee
and in the selection committee are past award recipients who
are also active members in the community.
In 2008, we have Senator Vivienne
Poy and Director Maureen Siu from Hong Kong Economic and Trade
Office as our Honourary Patrons.
The project was made
possible with the support of the
Department
of Canadian Heritage through the Canadian Culture Online Strategy
